Proudly Carrying the torch that Antonio Wandré Pioli lit and moving it into the 21st century.
N guitars are aluminum neck-through semi hollow guitars with very reactive aluminum top and backs. A Super unique "invisible" neck profile and custom wound pickups from Vig Guitars.
Wandre guitars pioneered aluminum neck construction from the late 1950's through the 1960's. Aluminum as a neck material is idleal. It's immune to warping and is stiff and dense enough to transmit vibrations uniformly for even tone and incredible sustain.
Headstock flex is virtually eliminated with an aluminum plate attached to the neck shaft at a 19 degree angle. N guitars uses a solid aluminum neck shaft with a traditional scarf style headstock joint. Our headstocks have a mahogany back for enhanced resonance and to allow a more practical tuner mounting surface.
The Fingerboard hangs just over the edge of the neck shaft like the early and mid era Wandre's .
The feel is completely unique but immediately familiar. The neck back seems to disappears from your fretting hand. We love big necks and those awesome V shaped necks from 1959 . We've always thought that the neck profile is kind of the personality of a guitar. N guitars spent years experimenting before landing on our invisible profile. which allows you to focus all your attention where it belongs, on the fingerboard.

The mahogany adds resonant mass without adding much physical weight.

Aluminum plates vibrate like crazy and alter the magnetic field of the pickups to create a massive influence on the tone coming out of your amplifier and speakers.
The N guitar's back is also coupled to the neck assembly and vibrates freely adding depth and low frequency content to the guitars voice.

Pickups: the N-guitars team has settled on thunderbird style pickups because they sound fantastic! We've got a standard alnico model that has a bold and naturally compressed voice and a range of hand wound custom voiced pickups that are extremely dynamic with a unique sonic signature that excels at blurring the characteristics of single coil and humbucking pickups. Because N guitars have aluminum tops and backs these guitars are virtually immune to all outside noise and interference.

Number of pickups, Single bridge, Neck or Middle positions. The single pickup in the middle spot is a secret favorite here. But if you need 3 pickups, then let's do it!
FINGERBOARD: Rosewood, Ebony, Purple Heart any of the dark boards are an option. If you want Maple, I can do it... but it will want some kind of binding.

Any of the N guitars body styles can be made into basses or baritone guitars. I personally love how a short scale bass works with the super rigid aluminum neck/body insert.
No dead spots, no loud spots. Piano like attack with fantastic note separation and sustain.
Tons of vibe and character.
Standard options include Hipshot tuning machines and the fantastic Hipshot Third style bass bridge (not pictured).
